Running Competition Marks Second Day of Fit India Week

DARHAL, Mar 26: A thrilling running competition was held at Government Degree College, Darhal, on the second day of the ongoing Fit India Week celebrations. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their athletic skills and sportsmanship.
The competition was divided into three groups. In the first group (girls), Afifa Anjum clinched the top spot, followed by Ashiyana Fareed in second place, while Nusrat Jabeen and Samreena Kosser shared the third position. The second group (girls) saw Ruksana Kosser emerge as the winner, with Shazia Tabassum and Rozia Kosser securing second and third places, respectively. Among the boys in the third group, Fazal Ali finished first, Mohd Sajid secured second place, and the third position was shared by Shaheez Ahmed and Danish Aziz.
The event was held under the patronage of Principal Prof. Zamir Ahmed Mirza. Faculty members Dr. Ghulam Abbas, Dr. M. Saleem Wani, Dr. Mohd Akhlaq, and Dr. Anzar Ahmed served as special observers, while Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Dr. Sagir Ahmed, Dr. Sumina, Dr. Shakeel Kataria, Dr. Atta ur Rehman, Dr. Mohd Iqbal, and Jameel Ahmed acted as judges.
