| Jammu Channel Pushes Government for IT Complex | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, April 16 The need for an IT Complex in Jammu region has been strongly felt by the channel community here. Taking the voice of the community in building a big IT hub, Jammu Computers Dealer Association (JCDA) has now planned to gear up the demand and put it in the front of state authority. According to Naveen Gupta, Organising Secretary, JCDA, One of the main agenda for us today is to build an IT complex where resellers and retailers can have a smooth business practice. We have almost finalized the paper work required to put the demand in front of government. Initially we are getting good response while discussing the issue with few politicians. Definitely we will build the dream place for the channel community. This is said to be one of the main agenda for the association to work on apart from other initiatives. Also this complex can solve the reseller problem to find a suitable place to operate their business as there is huge scarcity of proper place to run IT business. This association has been always first in organsing event and activities to energise the channel community. Now the channel is planning to hold a seminar on to promote the legal business practice by the partners. Very soon we will be organsing a seminar to educate the channel in billing practices. We would be more focusing on to fill proper sale tax and VAT. To make them more aware, we are coordinating with sales tax authority, income tax department and chamber of commerce to give their presence and make us aware more and guide us to follow ethical business practice, concluded by Naveen.
