Desh Bhagat University takes center stage at Mega Job Fair, empowering future leaders

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Mar 29: Desh Bhagat University placement cell recently organized Mega Job Fair in Ludhiana was a resounding success, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and recruiters alike. The event, designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, attracted a total of 907 students, with 792 attending in person, 117 joining virtually, and an impressive 1,477 students registering online.
Representing a wide array of industries, 48 companies participated in the fair, presenting diverse job opportunities across various sectors. The highlight of the event was the competitive salary package on offer, with the highest being an attractive Rs.6 LPA.
The job fair was graced by distinguished guests who added to the prestige of the event. The Chief Guests were Dr. Rupinder Kaur (Director, Employment) and Mr. Deepak Bhalla (Chief Executive Officer, Employment) while Special Guests included Ms. Jaswinder Kaur (Employment Head), Mr. Ghanshyam (Placement Officer), Ms. Divya Khurana and Ms. Pooja Kathuria (Placement Heads, Desh Bhagat University).
In a memorable moment Dr. Zora Singh Chancellor and Dr Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University congratulated the selected students, further motivating them on their career journeys. He congratulated the placement cell and appreciated the efforts made by them.
The event not only provided a platform for students to secure promising career opportunities but also facilitated meaningful interactions between aspiring candidates and leading industry professionals.
