RS PURA, Mar 29: The Institutional Innovation Cell of Government Degree College (GDC), R.S. Pura, in collaboration with the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), R.S. Pura, organized a Registration-cum-Awareness Drive on the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) today. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Jugal Kishore, Internship Coordinator, and the able guidance of Dr. Preetpal Kour, Principal of the College, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Dr. Jugal Kishore inaugurated the session by welcoming the audience and highlighting the objective of the drive. He also introduced the delegation from ITI, R.S. Pura. Officials Mr. Vinod Kumar and Ms. Poonam Dev briefed students about the PMIS through an informative video presentation, explaining the registration process. This was followed by the live registration of students on the PMIS portal.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Preetpal Kour emphasized the importance of career-oriented government schemes like PMIS and encouraged the Institutional Innovation Cell to continue organizing such initiatives for students' benefit.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Jugal Kishore to the esteemed principal and other dignitaries present. Among those in attendance were Dr. Neena Gupta, Associate Professor in English, and Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences.
