Iftar organised for local youth at Dodasan Bala, Thanamandi Rajouri

Rajouri, Mar 30: Keeping in view of maintaining cordial relations with local citizens, Indian Army organised an Iftar party on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat cum interaction with locals at Govt Boys Model Higher Secondary School, Thanamandi and Dodosan Bala. It was aimed to foster good relationships with religious mentors of society in the area and hold the terrorist ecosystem at grassroot level. The aim was to interact with locals and spread the message of harmony during the auspicious month of Ramzan. Evening namaz was attended by the troops followed by the Iftar for the invitees. Officer of The Indian Army addressed the local people and conveyed about the significance of peace and coexistence of various communities in the society. The Officer conveyed his good wishes to the villagers on behalf of the Indian Army and thanked the local people for their support towards the Security Forces. A total of 675 locals and troops attended the event at Govt Boys Model Higher Secondary School, Thanamandi and Dodosan Bala. The event was successful in reaching out to people, to read through the populace and create multiple footprints of ethnical perception management across all villagers in a single timeframe. This gesture and effort by the Indian Army was highly appreciated by Awam and was a progressive effort for strengthening trust between the Indian Army and Awam and displayed Indian Army’s commitment towards maintaining peace in the area. The celebration was overflowing with enthusiasm and the Indian Army once again extended a great gesture towards consolidation of military-civil bond.
