Lucknow, Mar 30: Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed historic improvements in law and order over the past eight years. Since 2017, heinous crimes such as dacoity, robbery, riots, murder, kidnapping, and rape have plummeted by up to 85%. The government’s zero-tolerance policy has significantly enhanced security across the state, tightening the crackdown on mafia networks and criminal elements.
According to police records, robbery incidents have dropped by 84.41% compared to 2016, while loot cases have declined by 77.43%. A similar reduction has been observed in crimes like kidnapping, dowry-related murders, and rape.
The proactive approach of law enforcement, backed by modern surveillance techniques like CCTV monitoring, has been instrumental in apprehending criminals.
The Yogi government has also launched large-scale operations against mafias, gangsters, and land grabbers, seizing illegal assets worth over Rs 142 billion. Cases have been registered against 68 mafia leaders and their 1,500 associates, with 617 criminals arrested and the Gangster Act imposed on 752 offenders.
During Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s tenure, Uttar Pradesh has advanced in development and set a new benchmark in law enforcement.
Combining an active police force, technological advancements, and stringent laws have dismantled criminal networks, ensuring a safer environment for every citizen—one of the government’s most significant achievements.
