Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 30: In a significant public meeting held in Lehar Sungal village of Akhnoor Tehsil, many youths pledged their support to the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) under the leadership of its President, Vikram Singh Vicky. The gathering, attended by youth, senior citizens, and women, focused on key issues such as the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s princely state status, discrimination against Jammu, and concerns over drug abuse and unemployment among the youth.
Addressing the gathering, Vikram Singh Vicky emphasized YRS’s commitment to fighting for the bright future of Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted the deteriorating mental and economic conditions of the youth and the rising challenges of unemployment and drug addiction. Vikram urged the government to take these issues seriously and implement necessary measures to safeguard the future of the region.
Former YRS President Rajan Singh Happy also voiced concerns about the current situation, warning that if proactive steps are not taken, the Dogra identity and heritage could be at risk. He called for unity and active participation in the movement, particularly for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.
Founder and Chief Patron of YRS, Rajendra Singh Manhas, reaffirmed that the organization was established not only for the Rajput fraternity but also for the overall welfare of Jammu and Kashmir. He urged all members to raise their voices for their rights and work towards preserving the honor and dignity of the Dogra community.
Several senior members, including Mohan Singh, Ramesh Singh, Mahinder Singh, Neetu Singh, Bahadur Singh, Balvir Singh, Mukesh Singh, Mandeep Singh, Vishal Singh, Sumit Singh, Bhanu Singh, Vishal Rakwal, Vasu Singh, Toka Singh, Sanju Singh, Rajeev Jamwal, Bindu Singh, Joginder Singh, Paras Singh, and many others, attended the meeting.
