| 2-day Medical Camp held at Kargil | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kargil, Apr 17-Army Hospital Kargil today organized a two day multi-specialty/cancer screening camp under Sadhbhawna Mission, at Asha School. Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan was the Chief guest on the occasion. Executive Councilor Health Punchok Tashi, Executive Councilor Haji Ghulam Amir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Tsering Murup, Councilor Kargil town Aga Syed Hussain, Councilor Poyen Haji Ibrahim, President Islamia School Kargil Sheikh Ahmad Mohamadi, Brig. Commander 121 Infantry Brig. Amarjeet Singh, Specialist Doctors of Army Hospital, District Hospital Kargil and Officers from Civil and Army were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Executive Councilor lauded the Army authorities for extending health care facilities to the people of Kargil by organizing such camp. In his inaugural address, Brig. Commander Amarjeet Singh highlighted various welfare schemes launched under Sadhbhawana Mission for the well being of the local people. He said that education, woman empowerment, rural development and healthcare sectors are being given priority under Sadhbhawana Scheme. Later, the Chief Executive Councilor accompanied by Executive Councilors visited various units of the medical camp. |
