BJP leaders pay tribute to Shaheed Jagbir Choudhary, vow to avenge martyrs' sacrifice

JAMMU, Mar 31: In a solemn gesture of respect and solidarity, BJP Jammu & Kashmir President Sat Sharma, Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly Sunil Sharma, Jammu North MLA Sham Lal Sharma, and Akhnoor MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat visited the residence of Shaheed Jagbir Choudhary in village Mattu, Khour. The valiant soldier laid down his life in the recent Kathua encounter while defending the nation against anti-India elements.
The leaders offered floral tributes to the martyr and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family. Addressing the media, BJP President Sat Sharma stated, "The sacrifices of our brave jawans will never go in vain. Pakistan is attempting to destabilize the region, but our security forces are fully prepared to give them a befitting response. The entire nation stands firmly with our forces, and we will ensure that every drop of blood spilled is avenged."
He further added that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Jammu & Kashmir next week for a comprehensive security review. The government remains committed to strengthening national security and eradicating terrorism from its roots.
"The BJP has always stood shoulder to shoulder with our security forces. We assure the people that justice will be served, and those responsible for this cowardly act will face the consequences," he asserted.
Other senior BJP leaders present during the visit included BJP District President Kuldeep Banotra, Former VC Kissan Board Daljit Chib, DDC VC Suraj Singh, DDC Member Bhushan Bral, Manmohan Singh, Neeraj Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Anil Sharma, Pawan Singh, Abhishek Verma, among others. The delegation reiterated the party's unwavering support to the security personnel and their families.
The BJP leadership also urged the administration to expedite assistance for the martyr's family and called upon the people of Jammu & Kashmir to stand united against the forces attempting to disrupt peace in the region.
