| NC women activists join PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Bhaderwah, Apr 17- A large number of women activists of National Conference today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of Parveen Khan, district president of Mahila wing of PDP Doda.
A function was held at Bhatri village of Gandoh area of Bhaderwah in which these female activists joined the party. Prominent among those who joined PDP included Shazai Parveen, Shamima Akther, Yasmin Begum, Rifat, Jatun Begum, Hazara Begum, Nasreen Begum and others.
Welcoming these activists in the party fold, Parveen Khan hoped that with their joining PDP would be strengthened in Bhaderwah area in particular and Doda district in general. Ghulam Rasool local leader of the PDP was also present on the occasion.
Those who joined the PDP expressed faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. They said that only PDP can protect interests of the all sections of the society.
