| NC intensifies election campaign in Anantnag | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Anantnag, Apr17- National Conference Senior leader and district president Anantnag Mohammed Akbar Ganai today intensified the election campaign and addressed series of election meetings at Dalwach Gagzgund, Nowgam, Rain Chougund, Check Wangund and Manzmoo areas of Doru Shahabad here today.
Addressing the meetings at these places Ganai appealed the party workers of both NC and congress to come forward and strengthen the coalition government by casting their valuable votes in favour of NC-Congress coalition candidate from Anantnag-Pulwama Parliamentary constituency Dr Mehboob Baig.
He said that the present coalition government led by Omar Abdullah is committed for the overall development of the state and will come up to the expectations of the people of the state. “National Conference- Congress coalition government will bring in an era of overall development in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and will fight all the divisive forces tooth and nail” he added.
Ganai said many attempts were made by some vested interest to disintegrate the state on regional and religious lines, but all those attempts were foiled by none other but the people of the state who are wise enough to judge between the right and the wrong. He said people of the state have reposed faith in National Conference and its leadership.
The present NC-Congress coalition government is committed for equitable development and distribution of resources among all the three regions of the state and is further committed for secularism, brotherhood and tranquility in the state, he added.
“NC-Congress coalition government will lead the state towards an era of progress and prosperity and will fulfill the commitments which it has made with the people of the state”, he said.
