| JK lower grade employees hail Govt decision | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 17: The J&K lower grade employees unions of civil secretariat in a meeting have hailed decision of the state government in realizing 7% DA and implementing control pay commission report in favor of state govt employees. In a workers meeting chaired by president of the union Abdul Majid have hailed the bold decision taken by the J&K Government by implementing the Central Pay Commission (6th pay commission) and also releasing the 7% DA installment which will benefit 4.70 lac employees of the state and in this connection thanked the Chief Minister Umar Abdullah, Finance Minister A.R. Rather, Chief Secretary S.S Kapoor, Financial Commissioner Planning S.L. Bhat, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, Commissioner Secretary GAD Basharat Ahmad Dar, Commissioner Secretary Finance Sadanshu Panday and Director Codes M.I. Khanday on the efforts taken by them for getting the pay commission released in the J&K state. In the meeting members have assured that Govt that the Lower Grade Employees Union shall always work for the benefit and betterment of the employees of J&K State.
