Jammu police leads Grand Anti-Drug Rally Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

JAMMU, Apr 5: In a bid to combat the scourge of drug abuse, SP Headquarters Jammu Sh. Irshad Hussain Rather-JKPS, today on 04.04.2025 launched a unique Antidrug Rally by leading one such grand Rally at dug Hotspots of Sikenderpur Kothey Bishnah and Miralia Miran Sahib.
Huge gathering of people including senior citizens, women folk as well as large number of Children participated enthusiastically in the Rally.
SDPO R S Pura Gurmeet Singh -JKPS, SHO Bishnah Sushil Choudhary, SHO Miran Sahib JaiPaul Sharma and other officers of Headquarter zone also participated in the Rally.
The Rally begins at old drug hotspot of Sikenderpur Kothey Bishnah and after almost 2 Km's foot march, giving strong Antidrug message finally culminated at Miralia Miran Sahib. Participants especially Children were enthusiastically raising slogans, '' Chitay Walay, Murdabad, Chitay Walay Hi-Hi. Participants also take oath that they will never use drugs and will fully cooperate with Police in curbing drug abuse
This groundbreaking campaign aims to educate the public about the the dangers of drug abuse.
The initiative capitalises on ensuring the anti-drug message reaches a broad audience & stressed to steer clear of drugs and alcohol and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. The campaign seeks to foster enduring awareness about the issue of drug abuse. It also serves as a constant reminder to the individuals, reinforcing the importance of staying away from illicit substances.
This innovative anti-drug awareness campaign reflects the Jammu Police's commitment in tackling drug abuse and safeguarding the well-being of the community. Through collaborative efforts and innovative approaches, aim is to create a safer and drug-free environment for all residents.
This Antidrug Campaign launched by District Police Jammu under Civic Action Provramme(CAP) will continue in other parts of the District especially Drug hotspots.
