Natrang to begin acting workshop from April 13

JAMMU, Apr 7: Natrang Jammu is going to organise 'Acting Workshop' from 13th April, 2025 at Natrang studio Theatre, Jammu. This workshop will have special focus on various aspects of acting. In its continuous effort to provide training and generate awareness about theatre amongst youth, Natrang Jammu always endeavours to organise Acting workshops for freshers at Natrang Studio Theatre, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Director Natrang, Padamshree Balwant Thakur while giving details said that this exclusive Acting Workshop will introduce elementary aspects of acting processes and also will meet a very noble purpose of making youth aware about their strengths and weaknesses which is must for their overall personality development. The workshop will be conducted by Neeraj Kant who has been working with youth since last 20 years and Sumeet Sharma who is a post-graduate in performing arts and Yuva Bismillah Khan Awardee for direction in theatre.
Theatre hones the skills of its practitioners and makes them more confident, creative, imaginative and spontaneous that is why Natrang keeps on organizing such workshops for the benefit of the youth. Most importantly theatre helps in sharpening the communication skills and develops public speaking of the participants. Moreover in last few years there is a growing demand of actors in the industry of theatre, events, OTT, television and films and just to respond to that, Natrang has taken the initiative to help, support and train the fresh talents. Jammu, in the last few years has been very popular in the theatre and television industry and many young talents from Jammu have made a huge name in theatre, films and TV industry.
