Early Times Report Jammu , April 19 All Jammu and Kashmir daily wagers union of power development department (PDD) have urged upon the state government to sanction compensation amount in favour of employees of the department admitted in the hospitals of Jammu, Srinagar and at Ludhaina injured during performing duties. Addressing a day long convention at Srinagar, chaired by provincial president Kashmir Tariq Ahmad, said daily wagers of PDD are the worst suffers and the govt does not pay any attention towards them. He said union has decided to go for pen down strike on April, 21, to press for the demands, which include regularization of daily wagers, implementation of Janta Insurance for all daily wagers, release of all pending wages and increase of wages from Rs 70 to Rs 200 per day. The convention was also attended by union members of Jammu province who supported the demands highlighted by their Kashmir counterparts. Members from Jammu region who took part in the meet were state president Tara Chand, Deepak Sharma, Kulbir Singh, Kulbushan Singh, Balvinder Singh, Arvind Sharma, Raju, Ashok and Deepak Sharma etc.
