| Bajwa demands action against NC leaders for attacking PDP workers | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Apr18- Former Rajya Sabha member and PDP candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Trilok Singh Bajwa has demanded registration of FIR against National Conference MLC Javed Rana for terrorizing the masses and attacking PDP workers during the polling on April 16 at Mendhar.
Bajwa, who is in Mendhar to inquire about the condition of party workers who were attacked by the NC goons on polling day, flayed the authorities for not taking action against the culprits involved in such incidents. He alleged that with the connivance of local administration NC goons were terrorizing the people before the polling but authorities failed to take timely action against them to avoid clashes during the polling. He said that fourteen PDP activists were injured when they were attacked by the NC goons on the polling day. He further said that 10 workers are admitted in the hospital because they were severely attacked by the ruling party goons.
Bajwa demanded a thorough probe into the whole episode to fix responsibility on those who were responsible for violence on the day of polling at Mendhar. He warned that PDP would launch a stir if action was not taken against those who have attacked party workers.
