JAMMU, Apr 11: Gaurav Gupta, Spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu & Kashmir, has extended strong support and appreciation for Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's bold and commendable decision to terminate two government employees for their confirmed involvement in terror-linked activities.
In an official statement, the BJP Spokesperson hailed the move as a necessary and courageous step in the fight against terrorism. He said that the dismissal of Ishtiyak Ahmad Malik, Senior Assistant in Public Works Department and Basahrat Ahmad Mir, Assistant Wireless Operator sends a loud and clear message that the J&K administration will not tolerate any compromise when it comes to the safety and security of the people. "It is deeply disturbing that these individuals used their respected positions in the health and education sectors to support anti-national elements," he stated.
Gaurav added that this firm action by LG Sinha reinforces the resolve of the administration to root out every form of terrorism and its sympathizers from the system. He underlined that the presence of such individuals within the government machinery was not only a breach of public trust but also a direct threat to national security.
"This is not merely about job dismissals, It is about cleansing the administration of any hidden terror ecosystem that operates under the guise of public service," he said and reiterated BJP's full support to every measure that fortifies institutional integrity and protects the democratic fabric of Jammu & Kashmir.
