India witnessed silent revolution under Modi's leadership: Sat Sharma
4/11/2025 10:22:50 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 11: BJP State President (J&K UT), Sh. Sat Sharma (CA), called upon the party cadre to intensify their outreach efforts and take the party's ideology to every corner of the constituency.
He was addressing a vibrant gathering of party workers during the Active Member Sammelan of Jammu West Assembly Constituency, organized at Baby Caterers, Jammu. The event saw the presence of District President Sh. Rajesh Gupta, District General Secretaries Sh. Ravi Kant and Sh. Suneet Raina, Yuva Morcha State President Arun Prabhat, Adv. Karan Sharma (State IT Co-Convener), and Mandal President Kushant Prajapati, among others.
Addressing the Sammelan, Sat Sharma took the attendees on a reflective journey through the political legacy of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its ideological predecessor, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He emphasized the historical necessity of the party's formation as a principled alternative to the Congress, which, he said, had committed several blunders post-Independence. Paying heartfelt tributes to visionaries like Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, he credited their supreme sacrifices for laying the foundation of a united and strong India, especially in the context of Jammu and Kashmir.
Remembering the towering Dogra leader Pt. Prem Nath Dogra, Sat Sharma urged the party cadre to take inspiration from his life of dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to Jammu's cause. "His ideals must guide us as we carry forward our mission of national service," he asserted.
Speaking on the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sat Sharma stated that the past eleven years have marked a silent revolution across the country. "From the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which realized Mahatma Gandhi's dream, to women-centric schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and direct benefit transfers for transparency, the Modi government has ushered in a new era of governance and accountability," he said.
MLA Jammu West, Sh. Arvind Gupta, in his address, reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the party at the grassroots. He applauded the Modi government's focus on national security, empowerment of women, and upliftment of marginalized communities. "Now is the time to redouble our efforts," he said. "Every karyakarta must become a torchbearer of BJP's vision, values, and mission of inclusive development."
Rajesh Gupta, District President, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the unprecedented peace and development witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir under Prime Minister Modi's leadership. He encouraged the workers to carry forward the message of progress with renewed dedication and ensure that no citizen is left behind in the journey of growth.
The gathering was further graced by senior BJP leaders including Sanjay Baru, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Prem Gupta, Bawa Sharma, Ravinder Birpuria, Keshav Chopra, Munish Gupta, Bablu Chand, Brahmjot Satti, Rahul Nargotra, Sonali Gupta, Deepak Sharma, Happy Sharma, Rajesh Saini, Pardeep Sharma, Vikas Gupta, Indresh Gupta, Pardeep Malhotra, Rajni Sethi, Veenu Khanna, Reema Padha, Chakshu Kapoor, Rekha Sharma, Neelam Nargotra, Sudesh Sharma, Pratibha Sharma, Suman Mahaldar, Anuradha Rajan Bhan, and many others.
