| Indian Army Launches Agniveer Recruitment Cadre in Mendhar, Poonch | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Apr 13: In a major step towards empowering local youth and strengthening the armed forces, the Indian Army has launched an Agniveer Recruitment Cadre in Mendhar, Poonch. The initiative aims to prepare aspiring candidates from the region for selection under the Agniveer scheme, equipping them with the necessary physical, mental, and technical training to serve the nation.
The cadre is designed to guide and support young individuals through the entire recruitment process, providing them with structured training and mentorship. This targeted effort will help local youth pursue a career in the Indian Army, while also promoting values of discipline, dedication, and national service.
Speaking on the launch, Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said the initiative reflects the Army’s commitment to inclusivity and nation-building. “The Agniveer programme not only strengthens the defence forces with tech-savvy and disciplined youth, but also contributes significantly to the development of local communities,” he added.
Selected candidates will undergo rigorous physical and technical training, preparing them for a dynamic career in the armed forces.
The recruitment cadre will remain operational for the next few months, ensuring comprehensive support and guidance to all interested youth from Mendhar and adjoining areas.
The initiative is expected to open up new avenues for the youth of Poonch, inspiring them to take pride in serving the nation through the Agniveer pathway. |
