JCDA holds Annual General Meeting

Jammu, Apr 13: Jammu Computer Dealer Association (JCDA) a representative body of the IT fraternity from Jammu province held its Annual General Meeting here today.The Executive body of Jammu Computer Dealer Association called its Annual General Meeting to discuss various issues facing IT fraternity in Jammu province and also to chart out future course of action to represent its common cause at appropriate forums.
The well attended Annual General Meeting was held at Jammu where IT Business owners from Jammu, Udhampur, Akhnoor and other areas of Jammu province registered their presence. While presenting action taken report since the last GBM, Sandeep Malhotra, President, JCDA stressed upon unity among the members of association. He also informed the members that the association is taking up the issue of non-payment of long overdue payments owed by the government departments to JCDA members.
He presented an account of various events organized by JCDA in recent past and congratulated the IT fraternity for their wholehearted support for a very successful IT EXPO Jammu. He also announced the IT EXPO Jammu 2025 in which JCDA is going to bring all the top IT brands to Jammu to showcase latest technologies and to make Jammu consumers aware of the latest innovations in IT technologies.
The JCDA executive body felicitated the past presidents and election commissioners of JCDA for their guidance and support in bringing JCDA to current status. S. Gurpreet Singh, Treasurer of the association presented the annual audited accounts of the association.
The program was conducted by Dr. Gopal Parthasarthi Sharma, General Secretary of the association who informed the association members that JCDA was aggressively pursuing the government for establishment of IT Park and IT Mall in Jammu. On the occasion, JCDA management requested the public at large, business establishments, and government departments to purchase IT products and services from JCDA Verified Dealers only so that local IT vendors are able to provide them with the best products and services at the most competitive prices.
The formal vote of thanks was offered by R. C. Sharma, Vice President of JCDA and later the JCDA members celebrated Basakhi festival with great enthusiasm.
