Bharatiya Kala Sangan holds Audio Visual Program

Jammu, Apr 13: Bharatiya Kala Sangan held Audio Visual Program on Art and Culture supported by Ministry of Culture,Govt of India, New Delhi,B.T.I.Section in the premises of Luthra Academy Kachi Chowni,Jammu in which large numbers of school students participated to witness the show for enhancing their vision about traditional Dogra Culture.
In this program, Rajiv Luthra, Principal of the School was the Chief Guest. Besides T.R.Sharma, JKAS(Retd) Chairman, Ramesh Singh Chib , Director Bhartiya Kala Sangan, Vice Principal, School Staff members and other dignitaries were also present there.
Speaking on the occasion, T.R Sharma apprised the gathering about the efforts of Ministry of Culture, Govt of India to widely disseminate the knowledge about the traditional Dogra Culture and its various aspects through the Audio Video mode so that new generation remains well connected with the roots of their culture.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of Bharatiya Kala Sangan to the Ministry of Culture, Govt of india,New Delhi, Sharma said that this project has been sanctioned by them to create awareness amongst people, especially the young generation to respect and evince deep interest towards waning and dying Dogra Culture so that the youth carry forward and spread the importance of understanding and following their culture in day to day life, he added.
While addressing the audience, the Principal of the Academy appreciated the efforts of Bhartiya Kala Sangan for organizing such a vibrating Audio Visual Show highlighting the importance of Dogra Culture which is an age old culture traditionally connected with people of Dogra land.
He urged the BKS to continue organizing such shows so that the young generation spontaneously get a sense of belonging with their traditional Dogra Culture.
In this program Panches, Sarpanches BDS members were provided with the Audio Visual materials to them enabling them to spread the message of traditional Dogra Culture in various places of their areas.
Program was anchored by Mahesh Sharma and vote of thanks was presented by Ramesh Singh Chib Director of Bhartiya Kala Sangam. Ramesh also expressed his thanks to Ministry of Culture GOI for financial support to BKS for
