Indian Army organizes friendly volleyball match

DODA, Apr 13: In a bid to promote sportsmanship and unity among the locals, the Indian Army organized a friendly volleyball match between two local teams in Bhart, Doda, on April 12, 2025, as part of the "Khelo India" initiative. The event was held in response to the popular demand from the local community.
The match saw players from diverse backgrounds, including different castes, creeds, and religions, coming together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. The thrilling match was competitive and exciting, with both teams demonstrating exceptional spirit and teamwork. A total of 11 participants took part in the event, which became an excellent opportunity for youth to display their talent and develop a healthy competitive spirit.
The match drew enthusiastic spectators from the local community, who cheered for the players and created a lively atmosphere. An officer from the Indian Army was present to witness the event and congratulated both teams for their stellar performances. As a token of appreciation, the officer distributed prizes to the teams for their remarkable efforts.
