Trotterz Cup 2025 Golf Tournament held at Jammu Tawi Golf Course

JAMMU, Apr 13: The Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC), in collaboration with Veteran Golf Trotterz, successfully organized the Trotterz Cup 2025 Golf Tournament under the guidance of Mrs. Yasha Mudgal (IAS), Commissioner Secretary to Government, Tourism Department.
The tournament was formally inaugurated with the ceremonial tee-off by Sh. Shailendra Kumar (IAS), Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture, Horticulture, Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, along with Mr. Manav Gupta, Secretary, JTGC.
The day-long event saw participation from 83 golfers, grouped into 21 four-balls, showcasing competitive spirit and sportsmanship.

Runner-Up: Mr. Arindham Sudan
Straight Drive (Hole 18): Sh. S.S. Sayal
Longest Drive: Col. A.K. Roy

The trophy distribution ceremony was graced by Hon'ble Minister Sh. Satish Sharma, who holds multiple portfolios including Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, IT, Youth Services & Sports, and ARI & Training. He, along with Mr. Manav Gupta, felicitated the winners and commended all participants for their enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sharma emphasized the need to boost tourism through regular hosting of such high-profile tournaments at Jammu Tawi Golf Course.
Manav Gupta extended heartfelt thanks to all participants, and appreciated Capt. Jaideep Mandody, the tournament organizer, and the JTGC management team for making the event a grand success.
