Kathua, Apr 19 - District Election Officer (DEO), Kathua, Mandeep Kaur, who is also the Returning Officer for Udhampur Parliamentary constituency (PC), convened a meeting of Micro Observers appointed for monitoring the elections , here today.
Election Observer for Kathua, Ramesh Bindurao Zalki was also present in the meeting.
The Returning Officer told the Micro Observers to monitor election process so that it is held in a free, fair and transparent manner and as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission. She asked them to bring any violation of the Model Code in the notice of the Election Observer or the District Election Officer
