Akhnoor, Apr 17: In a significant push towards rural development, Senior BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member Pandit Suresh Sharma today inaugurated a series of development projects in Panchayat Gharatal, Block Maira Mandrian. The projects, completed under the PRI Capex scheme, amount to a total investment of Rs 22 lakh. Key projects inaugurated include the construction of link roads and internal streets in Gharatal, Gosan, and Noor villages, the establishment of a waiting hall at the revered Drigi Mata Temple, and the development of a Passenger shed in Gosan to enhance public convenience. While addressing the residents, Suresh Sharma reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive development and stated that similar initiatives are being carried out across all Panchayats of Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura. “The aspirations of the people are our top priority, and we are working tirelessly to translate their demands into reality,” he said. The local community warmly welcomed these developments and extended heartfelt gratitude to Suresh Sharma.
