DPS Udhampur's Vasudha Sharma Secures 6th Rank

UDHAMPUR, Apr 18: In a remarkable achievement, Vasudha Sharma, a talented Class 12 student of Delhi Public School, Udhampur, has secured 6th rank in India in the prestigious All-India Book Writing Competition organized by BriBooks.
The national-level contest, part of the National Young Author's Fair 2024-25, witnessed participation from thousands of schools and lakhs of students across the country. Vasudha's creative brilliance earned her a place among the top 6 winners of the Jury Choice for Prime League, a testament to her storytelling prowess and literary talent. Her winning entry, Sakhi's Divine Mission, is a captivating mystery that beautifully intertwines elements of indigenous culture, yoga, and mindfulness. The book has been lauded by judges and readers alike for its originality, depth, and engaging narrative.
Reflecting on her inspiration, Vasudha shared, "The idea for Sakhi's Divine Mission came from my fascination with local culture and nature's wisdom. The story first appeared to me in a dream and stayed with me. I'm grateful to BriBooks and my school for providing a platform to bring my vision to life."
Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal of DPS Udhampur, expressed immense pride in Vasudha's accomplishment. "This recognition reaffirms our commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering creative expression. Vasudha has made us all proud," he said.
The school's Pro-Vice Chairman, Dr. J.C. Gupta, extended his heartfelt congratulations, while Managing Director Mr. Vivek Gupta and Academic Director Ms. Sucheta Gupta also applauded the young author's success and wished her a bright literary future.
