| SMC envisages giving exposure to the hidden talent among local youth, Pratap | | | Early Times Report Jammu Apr 19- Super Model Club,(SMC) a new enterprise launched by some youth of the state is in search of hidden talent in J&K, to give them exposure by providing them the chance to display the same, through organizing ramp shows. The first public program, aimed at giving exposure to the hidden talent among local youth and bringing the same to the notice of the public at large in Jammu, was organized by the club at Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University premises. About 2000 invitees were present, who highly appreciated the display of their talent by some local models. Super Model Club will be holding a similar show in Srinagar after two months and after one month of that a show in Ladakh. Throwing light on the objective of the Club, Bhanu Pratap Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Super Model Club told the media, here today that besides searching and sharpening the hidden talent among the local youth in modeling, the club also aims at highlighting the cultural heritage of the country and in its different regions and sub regions.
Stating that their venture, which has laudable objective of providing opportunity to those with talent, to display their hidden faculties, besides providing them avenues of game full employment, Pratap Singh sought public as well as government support to their venture. Since the fashion industry and designing technology in J&K has very limited sphere, their venture can succeed only with the support of the general public and the government, he added.
