Directed by Balwant Thakur the play showcased the pains and sufferings of a writer. Prakash a writer by profession is struggling day and night for his survival as writer. He hardly gets any paid writing assignment. Once, a Film producer assigns him a creative work to be completed in a day. He was supposed to develop a plot within the given time frame. The over jubilant writer gets set for the major accomplishment and decides to lock himself inside a room so he could devote his attention to the creation of a masterpiece. His struggle takes-off in his mind to churn a creative idea, by the time he reaches to a situation of putting down something on paper he is distracted by the visitors. Despite being advised by his caretaker, the visitors force their entry and burden him with their own problems. The writer pleads everyone that he is extremely busy as his mind is engaged in the creation process. But finding him not visibly busy everyone laughs at him and being an idle man he should render help to them. First a lady living in his neighborhood comes with the problem of her pet dog not listening to her. The lady is followed by the visit of his schoolmate having abandoned by his girlfriend. The writer Prakash somehow gets rid of his friend and continues his work locks himself in a toilet. Here a visitor from his ancestral village breaks open the door and thrash him for escaping from his responsibilities towards his native people. The writer has tried to portray the fate of a creative person who is not being understood by the people living around him. Balwant Gargi being a writer himself has beautifully depicted life of a creator, his aspirations, and frustrations. The play showcases the struggle of a creative person, the effort and the amount of energy he puts in creating an innovative piece. Without realizing and acknowledging his creative tensions everyone visiting to him just burden him with their own problems. By the end of the day he is not able to even put a single line on the paper. He cries for having lost everything but ironically no one is aware of the fact that for a creative person the time is the only prime possession for him. Rahul Singh beautifully portrayed the frustrations of a writer.
