Farooq Abdullah pays glowing tribute to Bodh Raj Bali on his 23rd Death Anniversary

JAMMU, Apr 21: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference today paid rich tributes to senior party leader and former Minister Bodh Raj Bali on his 23rd death anniversary at a solemn function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.
Party President and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah led the floral tributes and remembered Bodh Raj Bali as a leader of rare stature who dedicated his entire life to public service.
"Bodh Raj Bali was a leader par excellence whose contribution to the development and upliftment of the people of Jammu & Kashmir remains unparalleled. His unwavering commitment to the poor, marginalized, and underprivileged will always be remembered with pride and respect," Dr. Abdullah said.
The Party President further recalled Bali's pivotal role in the establishment of Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu. He also served as the Chairman of Jammu Central Cooperative Bank before becoming a Minister, dedicating himself selflessly to the service of the people throughout his public life.
"Bodh Raj Bali left an indelible mark on the party cadre through his dedication and relentless efforts in strengthening the National Conference at the grassroots level. The best tribute we can offer him is to work for the people and make the party a vibrant force across Jammu and Kashmir," he added.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah urged party workers to stay connected with the people and serve them with utmost sincerity. He asserted that the present National Conference government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people through inclusive governance and developmental initiatives.
Earlier, Prayer of all religions was performed in memory of Late Shri Bodh Raj Bali.
