| All J&K Rural Christian Association deputation meets Governor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 20- A deputation of All J&K Rural Christian Association met the Governor, N. N. Vohra, here today and presented to him a Memorandum of their demands. The demands, interalia, included the provision of employment opportunities for educated youth of the community, reservation of seats for them in the professional colleges, allotment of land for graveyards, according minority status to the community, allotment of agricultural land in rural areas, issuance of Permanent Resident Certificates by simplifying procedures and representation to the community in the State Legislature. The Governor gave a patient hearing to the deputation and said that the education of their children should remain the top priority of all the constituents as education is the key to empowerment of the youth and their future all round socio-economic development. The 12-member deputation was led by President of the All J&K Rural Christian Association, Sagar Anand Gill.
