Chirag Public School Celebrates Earth Day

Bathindi, Jammu , Apr 22: In celebration of World Earth Day 2025, Chirag Public School organized a vibrant tree plantation drive on its campus, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological awareness.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Hameed, who inaugurated the drive by planting a sapling, symbolizing a collective promise to protect and nurture the environment. His presence added significance to the initiative and inspired students and staff alike.
Also present on the occasion were Ms. Puja Datta, Director of the School, Dr. K. S. Mehta, Principal, and Mr. Pawan Kumar, School Administrator. All took part in the plantation activity, demonstrating the leadership’s dedication to promoting green values within the school community.
Students participated enthusiastically, planting saplings with care and enthusiasm. Their involvement reflected the school’s efforts to instill environmental consciousness in young minds and encourage active participation in conservation efforts.
In his address, Mr. Abdul Hameed lauded the school’s initiative and emphasized the importance of grassroots action in tackling environmental challenges. “Protecting the environment is a shared responsibility,” he said, “and it begins with small yet meaningful steps like these.”
The event concluded with a pledge to continue eco-friendly practices throughout the year and to motivate others to contribute towards building a healthier, greener planet.
