| Panthers maintaining hedge over Congress-BJP combine | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 20- Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency is witnessing a unique battle of ballots on April 23,, 2009. The Panthers Party Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh who is contesting himself from Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency has established his hedge over Congress and BJP candidates. The Congress candidate is completely out of the scene and Panthers Party candidate has an easy battle against his unknown BJP candidate, claims JKNPP. The Panthers Party organized a highly impressive show of strength in Udhampur and Reasi District Headquarters today. Both the rallies were addressed by Prof. Bhim Singh. Prof Singh made a strong appeal to the voters to defeat Congress, BJP and other National Parties’ candidates so that he could represent the voice of the people of Jammu in the Parliament. He assured to involve people of Jammu and Kashmir particularly the youth for the national reconstruction and strengthening integration between the State and the rest of the country. Prof Singh said that democracy and federal structure in India is dependant on the rule of the State parties which harm the backbone of the national unity. He accused the opportunistic alliance between National Conference and Congress for the sake of power otherwise there is nothing common between the two parties. Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA and State President of the Panthers Party who presided over the party’s massive rally in Udhampur appealed the voters to vote and support Prof. Bhim Singh who has been struggling relentlessly for the past 50 years.
