Ritika led BJP Mahila Morcha activists' protests against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism

JAMMU, Apr 23: Ritika Trehan, Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha, led a strong protest against Pakistan in Gandhi Nagar today, condemning terrorist attack in Pahalgam . The protest was a show of solidarity with the grieving families of the victims and a call for action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Speaking to media persons, Ritika strongly condemned the terrorist attack, emphasizing that such cowardly acts will not deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from pursuing peace and development. She expressed her deepest condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
Trehan extended her full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to take action against terrorists and those who sponsor them. She emphasized that a befitting response will be given to Pakistan to stop terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.Trehan demanded that Pakistan be held accountable for its role in sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. She emphasized that diplomatic efforts won't yield any results and only strong action is needed against Pakistan to curb terrorism.
Trehan assured the families that the BJP Mahila Morcha stands with them in their time of grief and will continue to support efforts to bring peace and stability to Jammu and Kashmir.The Morcha's support for PM Modi's action against terrorists reflects its determination to take a strong stance against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.Ritika demanded declaring Pakistan a rogue nation and imposing economic sanctions for its support to terrorism and extremist groups.The attack appears to be designed to create fear among tourists and damage the local economy, which has been growing steadily in recent years.
Ritika observed that tourism industry is a significant contributor to Jammu and Kashmir's economy, with millions of visitors flocking to the region every year. The attack was planned to deter tourists from visiting the region, leading to economic losses and damage to the local businesses that depend on tourism. She however reiterated that PM Modi government would take measures to ensure the safety and security of tourists and to promote the region's tourism industry.
