| Separatists evince interest in new Govt. formation at centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 20- Though the All Party Hurriyat Conference leadership has dissociated itself from the Lok Sabha poll process, it, however, is eagerly waiting for the election results. "Yes we are waiting for the new Government to be formed at the centre so that Delhi and Islamabad resume dialogue for resolving all the bilateral problems, including the Kashmir issue," said Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, a senior APHC leader. In reply to a question he said "we have no preference for any political party or group of parties that may form the Government in the centre. We want the Government to restart the process of dialogue. We want the new Government to resume talks with us". He said that for over three years there has been no resumption of talks between the centre and the Hurriyat leaders and "I believe that after the now Government is installed in Delhi it will open the channels of dialogue with us and with Islamabad." When asked whether the threat dished out by the United Jehad Council to the APHC Acting chief, Molvi Abbas Ansari, was some serious issue Bhat said "differences of opinion on any issue do exist in various political foras in the world and we do not treat the council's threat as something unusual and disturbing." In reply to a question Bhat said "the APHC leadership does not treat announcements and commitments of mainstream political party leaders seriously". He said when in power these mainstream political leaders have one ideology and policy and when out of power they have something different to offer to the people. He added that the APHC leadership has fixed goals and well defined ideology.
