DC Reasi chairs meeting on change of land use cases

REASI, Apr 25: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik today chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee to review Change of Land Use (CLU) cases in the district.
A total of 8 cases were taken up for discussion. After thorough scrutiny in the light of policy regulations, 2 cases were approved, 5 cases were deferred, and 1 case was rejected by the committee.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the ACR to ensure proper safety measures are in place before granting CLU approval for petrol pumps. She also instructed the Town Planner and Executive Engineer PWD to assess road conditions and ensure proper clearance. A joint site visit by the Town Planner and the executing agency was also directed.
During the meeting, the DC emphasized the timely issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to applicants after thorough verification of documents. She underscored the importance of strictly adhering to guidelines and policies while considering CLU cases.
The meeting was attended by ACD Pardeep Kumar, ACR Nitin Verma, XEN PWD, CEO MC, CAO, AEE and other concerned officers.
