Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 26: In a united show of solidarity and grief, all the artists and students of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS), Sangam Tru Art Production, and National College of Computer Education have strongly condemned the brutal killing of tourists in Pahalgam, calling it a cowardly and inhumane act designed to disturb the peace and communal harmony of the region.
Expressing deep anguish over the attack, Dr. Mohan Lal Dogra, Chairman of BLSKS, said, "Violence against innocent civilians, especially tourists who come to experience the beauty and culture of Kashmir, is unacceptable and deserves the strongest condemnation." He further urged the authorities to ensure that those responsible for this heinous crime are identified and severely punished.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Magotra, Managing Director of BLSKS, appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain united in the face of this atrocity and not let such acts of terror disrupt the peace and brotherhood that the region has long cherished. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and called for enhanced security measures to protect both residents and visitors.
"This incident must serve as a wake-up call against the rising extremist tendencies. We must stand together to defeat hatred and violence," Dr. Magotra added.
In a tribute to the victims, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam tragedy.
The organizations stand in solidarity with the affected families and offer prayers for the swift recovery of those injured. The brutal attack will not dampen India's collective resolve to fight terrorism and uphold the spirit of unity and peace.
