JAMMU, APRIL 20 -Contemporary trends in the field of art where the main attraction of All India Women Art Exhibition, inaugurated at Kala Kendra here today. The event was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages is association with Snehil, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. Three day exhibition which will remain open till 22nd of April was inaugurated by veteran artist Trilok Koul.
Secretary Academy Mr Zafar Iqbal informed that the exhibition, has been organized to provide maximum opportunities of interaction to the local talent, especially to the women folk.
Mr O P Sharma, Special Officer said that it is endeaur of the academy to organize such purposeful exhibitions which will give boost to art in the state.
Trilok Koul in his presidential address congratulated the academy for organizing the function and hoped that the academy will design such programmes in future as well.
