| Lal Singh addresses a series of meetings | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Apr 20: Congress candidate for 5-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency Ch. Lal Singh accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Tara Chand, Minister for Industries Surjit Singh Salathia and former Deputy CM Mangat Ram Sharma addressed series of meetings in Kathua district today.
Intensifying election campaign, senior leaders of the coalition addressed nearly a dozen meetings in Kathua, Basohli assembly segments today and asked the electorate to be vigilant about the vicious propaganda of the opposition parties like BJP and others who are bereft of any policy and programme for the welfare and development of the state. Rather these parties are sowing the seeds of division and hatred in the society. They said these were the parties to created a wedge between regions and religions for their vested political interests in the recent past and exploited the religious sentiments of the people. Now a days the BJP and other parties like PDP and Panthers party are complimenting and supplementing each other.
They appealed to the people to vote Congress party in order to bring back UPA government at the centre and carrying forward the development of the state.
