DIC Shopian organizes awareness programme under RAMP initiative

SHOPIAN, Apr 29: District Industries Centre (DIC) Shopian today organized an awareness-cum-outreach programme under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) initiative at Government Polytechnic College, Shopian. The event witnessed participation from key stakeholders, including the General Manager DIC Shopian, Lead District Manager Shopian, Principal of Government Polytechnic College Shopian, District Coordinator CSC Shopian, faculty members of the Polytechnic College, and officials of DIC Shopian.
Over 120 beneficiaries participated in the programme, comprising existing MSME owners, trainees and pass-outs of the Polytechnic College, and aspiring entrepreneurs. The participants were sensitized on the importance of UDYAM Registration and its vital role in empowering business establishments and promoting industrial growth. A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation was delivered during the session, detailing the UDYAM registration process, associated benefits, and various government support mechanisms available to MSMEs.
Speakers emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to tap flagship schemes and initiatives aimed at accelerating enterprise development.
