Suresh Sharma distributes Sports Kits, Urges Youth to Stay Away from Social Evils

AKHNOOR, Apr 29: BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member, Pandit Suresh Sharma, today distributed cricket and volleyball kits to the youth of various Panchayats in Block Maira Mandrian, fulfilling a commitment made under his DDC fund.
The distribution took place in Panchayats including Barui, Nardi, Maira Mandrian, Balgara, Garatal, Kathar, and keur. Beneficiary teams included the Barui cricket and volleyball teams, Sangani cricket and volleyball teams, Targah cricket team, Nardi cricket team, Maira Mandrian cricket team, Mund volleyball team, Kathar and Dhara Ardhan cricket teams, Dhara volleyball team, and keur cricket team, among others.
Suresh Sharma stated that this initiative is part of a broader plan to provide sports kits to every Panchayat in Blocks Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura encouraging active youth participation in sports.
Addressing the youth, Sharma emphasized the importance of sports in maintaining both physical and mental well-being. "Sports provide a healthy outlet for energy and motivation, keeping our young generation engaged and away from negative influences and harmful habits," he said. He urged the youth to unite in rejecting social evils and contribute positively to society.
The event was attended by Block Development Officer Maira Mandrian Tahir Hafiz, BJP leader Ramlal Sharma, Gulshan Kumar, Ashok Purohit, Akshay Kumar, Master Chanchal Singh, Bodhraj, Rattanlal, Subedar Mayor Singh, Pawan Kumar, Tarsem Lal, Ranjit Malhotra, Balwant Singh, Sanjeev Singh, Mukesh Kumar, various departmental officials, youth representatives from all participating Panchayats, and other local dignitaries.
