Hussain visits GMC Jammu, equired health of Rajouri bus accident injured

JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 23 - Minister of State for Health and Power, Peer Mohammad Hussain today visited Government Medical College hospital Jammu and enquired the welfare of the injured of Rajouri bus accident. He instructed the medical staff to provide best possible medicare to the injured for their early recovery. He also enquired the injured about the relief being provided to them.
The injured expressed their satisfaction over the treatment being provided to them by the hospital administration.
The Minister was also accompanied by PDP youth leader Mr. Vijay Kumar.

Jugal, Aijaz addresses public meetings at Ramban
DODA, SEPTEMBER 23 (INFO)- Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma has called upon the people to extend their cooperation to the coalition government headed by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad who has taken so many bold initiatives to mitigate the problems of the state accumulated since long and created new districts, sub-divisions and tehsils in the state.
The Minister was addressing a huge gathering at Ramban which was organized to facilitate the Ministers on giving district status to Ramban and induction as Cabinet Minister and Minister of States to Mr. Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma and Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Khan who was also present in the function and addressed the gathering.
Referring to the demands listed by the public, the Minister assured that henceforth a ministerial team will be visiting intervally here and other parts of Doda district to assess the problems of the people and solve them on spot which also include improvement of water supply schemes, power supply, construction of college building and new district complex, relief to earthquake victims, old age pension to destitute of the area.
While speaking the Minister of State for Forest, Agriculture, Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Khan listed the achievements of coalition government and said that the people of the state have gone through trauma of militancy during last 16 years and now a new dawn has set in the state under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad who is striving hard to restore complete normalcy and setting the state on progressive and development lines. He disclosed that 23 watersheds schemes are being taken up in catchment areas of river Chenab basins and timber shall be provided to the needy people at concessional rates in Doda district.
Similar public meetings were also addressed by the Ministers at Banihal, Ramsoo, Magarkote where people had gathered in large number to welcome them and put their demands for solution which included shortage of teaching staff, restoration of link roads, power supply, improvement of medicare facilities and relief to those whose crops have been damaged in recent heavy rains in the area.
At the conclusion of day long function, Mr. Sharma gave away Indira Awas Yojana cheques to nine beneficiaries of Ramban block amounting to Rs. 1.37 lakh at Ramban.
