JAMMU, May 1: Unique International Public School proudly celebrated Labour Day on May 1st, 2025, with great enthusiasm and respect, honoring the hard work and dedication of all supporting staff and labourers who form the backbone of the school community. The celebration began with a special morning assembly where students delivered speeches, poems, and skits highlighting the importance of dignity of labour and the contribution of workers in our daily lives. Incharge Randeep Kour addressed the gathering, emphasizing the value of hard work, humility, and gratitude towards those who serve selflessly every day.
One of the highlights of the event was a heartfelt felicitation ceremony where the school's housekeeping staff, security personnel, drivers, and other workers were presented with appreciation certificates and small tokens of love from the students and teachers. The event also featured cultural performances by students dedicated to workers across the globe.
"This celebration is our way of saying thank you to those who often go unnoticed, yet play such a vital role in shaping a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for our students," said S.Jasbir Singh ji, Chairperson of unique international public school.
