| Coalition in J&K is committed to pass KHRPS bill: Abdullah | | | Early Times Report Jammu, April 21: Former J&K Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said that the coalition government was committed to make a safe passage of the Kashmiri, Hindu, Religious Places and Shrines (KHRPS) bill in the state legislature even as some 'people' were trying to create obstacles its process.
Abdullah, the National Conference president, however refused to name the 'people' behind this and said, "the religious places are not only the heritage centers of Pandits but historical places of Kashmir as well and we all have to work together to protect them."
Addressing Kashmiri migrants at the party headquarters here last evening, Abdullah said, "all displaced Pandits should be return to the valley but they should come at their own free will.
He expressed hope that Vijay Bakaya, his party's member of legislative council would succeed in rehabilitating the Pandits as he had successfully managed the rehabilitation of victims of the fire at Charar-e-Shari
