Early Times Report
NAGROTA, May 1: As part of the ongoing Annual Training Camp (ATC), held from 17th to 26th April 2025, 150 girl cadets from the 1 J&K NCC Girls Battalion, Srinagar, had the unique opportunity to visit the Army Aviation Squadron at Nagrota on 24th April. This enriching visit was aimed at offering these young cadets firsthand exposure to the operational capabilities and life within the Army Aviation sector.
During the visit, the cadets were treated to a thrilling helicopter demonstration, where they got to see the intricacies of aviation operations up close. The cadets also had the chance to interact with Army pilots and technical staff who shared valuable insights on aviation operations, teamwork, and the vital role Army Aviation plays in national defence. These interactions were instrumental in inspiring the cadets, further motivating them to consider careers in the Armed Forces and other national services.
The visit also served to reinforce the core values of discipline, leadership, and national integration, which are central to the National Cadet Corps' mission. The event left a lasting impact on the cadets, sparking a spirit of adventure and fostering a deep sense of dedication to the nation.
Such initiatives by the NCC play a crucial role in shaping the future of India's youth, empowering them to become responsible citizens and leaders who will lead the country with courage and conviction.
