Magazines play important role in bringing awareness in society: Prof. Jain

Jammu, May 1: Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, said that literary Magazines have been playing an important role in bringing awareness in the society. If love, harmony, sensitivity is left in the society today, then it has been possible only through literature. Today, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain said the above expressions during the release of the January-March, 2025 issue of the quarterly wall magazine ‘Sharda’ published by the Department of Hindi and other Indian languages. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the creators of the works published in Sharda wall magazine and called upon other students of the university to sharpen their pens and enhance the hidden talent within themselves. The Vice Chancellor asked to make the magazine more beautiful and increase its publicity as much as possible. On this occasion, the Head of the Department, Prof. Bharat Bhushan thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain for all kinds of support. The editor-in-chief of the magazine, Dr. Shashikant Mishra, congratulated the editors of the magazine, researchers Vaishnavi Tripathi and Vikram Singh for their tireless hard work. All the professors, researchers and students of the department were present in the program.
