Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, May 4: Senior BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member, Pandit Suresh Sharma, today inaugurated a new 63 KVA transformer worth Rs 5 lakh and a passenger shed costing Rs 3 lakh in Devnagar village, Panchayat Nardi, Block Maira Mandrian. These developments fulfill a long-pending and heartfelt demand of the local residents.
For years, the people of Devnagar have struggled with low voltage issues, significantly impacting their daily lives. During a recent Janta Darbar, villagers raised the need for a transformer and a passenger shed. Taking immediate cognizance, Suresh Sharma allocated funds from his DDC budget and assured the public that their demands would be addressed. Today's inauguration marks the fulfillment of that promise.
While addressing the gathering, Sharma emphasized that development initiatives are being executed with a people-first approach. "Over the past four years, we have installed new transformers in multiple villages of Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura to tackle low voltage problems. We are aware that some villages are still facing similar issues, and we are committed to resolving them soon," he said.
