DODA, May 9: As part of an ongoing initiative to raise awareness about government welfare programs, a lecture on "Government Welfare Schemes" was successfully organized today at Dharamkot, Doda. The event aimed to educate the local population-particularly the youth-about various developmental and financial assistance schemes launched by the Government of India. The session was led by Sandeep Singh, who provided detailed insights into key welfare initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and schemes targeted at skill development for minorities. He highlighted how these programs offer valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth, especially for young individuals seeking to build sustainable careers.
A total of 10 local youth and community members actively participated in the session. Attendees expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that such informative engagements are vital for guiding the next generation toward informed decision-making and self-reliance.
