J&K Bar Association assures legal, medical aid to attack victims

JAMMU, May 10: In a gesture of solidarity and support, the Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu, visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu today to meet the victims injured in the recent cross-border attacks by Pakistan.
Led by President K. Nirmal Kotwal, the delegation included Vice President Baldev Singh, General Secretary Pardeep Majotra, Joint Secretary Anshu Mahajan, and Treasurer Rahul Agarwal. The team interacted with the injured patients, their families, attending medical staff, and the Principal of GMC Jammu, Dr. Ashutosh Gupta.
During the visit, the Association expressed deep concern over the tragic events and extended heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of all those injured. President Kotwal commended the dedication and tireless service of the medical staff at GMC, praising their professionalism and care in managing the crisis.
In a significant announcement, the Bar Association assured free legal aid to all victims of the attack and promised full cooperation with GMC authorities to ensure victims receive comprehensive medical and legal support.
The visit underscored the Bar Association's commitment to justice, compassion, and community service in the face of adversity.
