Ramban, May 11: Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to public service and community welfare, on 10 May 2025, 84 Bn CRPF extended timely assistance to 39 students (13 girls and 26 boys) from SKUAST Srinagar. These students, hailing from different parts of the country, (Bihar: 09, Jharkhand: 01, Jammu: 01, UP: 01, WB: 04, Assam: 04, Tripura: 04, Nagaland: 03, Manipur: 06 HP: 01 Haryana: 01, Delhi: 01, Orissa: 06) sought urgent help for evacuation from Kashmir through social media amidst rising tensions gripping Kashmir Valley and other parts of Northern and North-Western India. Responding promptly, the 84 Bn CRPF, in tandem with the University administration, arranged for their safe evacuation from Pampore. The students, visibly distressed, were evacuated from Pampore and brought to Tac Hq 84 Bn Ramban in the evening of 10 May 25. The students were provided secure accommodation, food and essential logistics and halted at 84 Bn CRPF Boom Ramban. After breakfast, on 11 May 2025, the students were safely dispatched to Jammu Railway Station, for onward journey to their respective states. The students expressed their sincere gratitude to the 84 Bn CRPF for their compassion and support during critical time. This gesture not only ensured their safety but also reinforced the trust and bond between the force and the citizens it serves. The 84 Bn CRPF continues to play a pivotal role in maintaining security and steadfast support for the welfare of people across.
