| Two thieves arrested with stolen jewellery | | | Early Times Report Jammu, April 22
Pacca Danga police solved a theft case and arrested two thieves besides recovered stolen jewellery worth rupees ninety thousand from their possession here today. Acting swiftly on the complaint lodged by one Avtar Singh son of Raguveer Singh resident of Rehari in Rehari Police post that some thieves entered into his house and stole jewellery consisted of two golden bangles and a golden chain worth rupees ninety thousand, police arrested two thieves who were working as servants in a house situated by the house of the complainant . The FIR had been registered in Pacca Danga police station in this regard. SDPO City Swantrata Arora constituted a team led by SHO Pacca Danga Raguveer Singh and IC PP Rehari Krishan Chand for the purpose. Team during investigation rounded up one Ajay alias Aju son of Gokul Chand resident of Dachan at present residing in Patoli and during his interrogation he told police that he worked as servant in the house of one Rajinder Salathia, neighbor of the complaint. One day when the family members of Avtar Singh went elsewhere he clandestinely entered into the house and stole two golden bangles and a chain which were kept on the television in one of the rooms of house and escaped from the spot. He said that he kept the jewellery in the house of his other companion namely Bablu alias Baba son of Fakir Das resident of Rehari who was also a house servant .Police on his disclosure arrested his other companion and recovered stolen jewellery from his possession.
